Students can choose to complete the Openseminary curriculum through two Higher Education providers:

• Palmer Seminary of Eastern University, USA. Here you will complete a Master of Theological Studies

• Tabor College Victoria, Australia. Here you will complete a Master of Arts in Church Practice

It is a 3 year part-time, fully accredited masters degree program that seek to employ the wisdom of experienced practitioners and academics. Through this program we aim to equip leaders for the church who are able to think critically and constructively about the ways in which the church shapes its life to respond to what God is doing in our world.

Purpose for the qualification

• Prepare learners who are choosing church ministry as a career or seeking to serve their local church while maintaining their professional lives;
• Provide broad subject knowledge to understand the ministry of the church at the local congregational level and to develop the necessary theoretical knowledge and the research skills required to work in this field;
• Offer integrated study to provide learners an opportunity for study, work and research;
• Address the need for well-trained ministers in established and emerging churches.
